Plane crashed in Taipei

 

This news is from Taiwan. A plane takes off. There are 58 people on the plane. The plane has problems. Its wing hits a road.

A car is on the road. People in the car have a camera. The camera films the accident.

The plane then crashes into a river. Nineteen people die. The crash injures fifteen people. Now twenty-four people are missing.

Մարտիրոսը հունարեն անուն է, որը նշանակում է նահատակ: Սակայն իմ ազգանունը այդ բառի հետ ոչ մի կապ չունի: Իմ պապերը եղել են Արևմտյան Հայաստանից: Չգիտեմ, թե նախքան Մարտիրոսյան դառնալը նրանք ինչ ազգանուն են ունեցել, սակայն գիտեմ, որ այնտեղից գաղթելիս երկու եղբայր փոխել են իրենց ազգանունը: Նրանցից մեծի անունը Ջանո է եղել, իսկ փոքրինը՝ Մարտիրոս: Դա էլ չգիտեմ, թե ինչու հենց փոքր եղբոր անունով ենք Մարտիրոսյան և ոչ օրինակ Ջանոյան, բայց ես իմ ազգանունը շատ եմ սիրում: Մարտիրոսյան ազգանունով շատ հայտնի և անհայտ մարդիկ կան:

Martiros has a Greek origin which means the martyr. However there is no connection among my surname and this word. My ancestors emigrated from Western Armenia. I don’t know what surname they had before Martirosyan but I know that the two brothers had changed their surnames then moved to Armenia.The elder brother’s name was Jano and the younger brother’s name was Martiros. I even don’t know why we called Martirosyan by younger brother’s name and not Janoyan but I am fond of my family name. There are many famous people by the surname Martirosyan.
